There is no secret when it comes to how natural deodorants work in comparison to traditional ones. It may seem to be quite difficult to get used to in the beginning, but it is well worth the effort.
Products made with all-natural ingredients and without any preservatives, have somewhat of a different consistency that's unlike traditional ones. The use of pure butters and oils make natural products more prone to melting in warmer temperatures because they contain no stabilizers. Because of the use of less but more powerful ingredients, it creates a more concentrated deodorant which requires to use less product and less swipes during the application process which in and on itself, look a bit different.
Despite the differences and with no doubt, the health benefits of switching to a safer and healthier deodorant alternative, far outweigh any potential difficulties experienced during the process.
1. First and foremost, you are going to sweat.
Sweating is the way your body detoxifies itself and keep your body in balance. Sweating is healthy and natural, and it might be more of it in the beginning, when your body starts to get rid of toxins due to the many years of using chemicals in traditional deodorants. 2. Secondly, less is more when it comes to using natural deodorant. A pea size amount is all it takes to keep you odor-free all day long. Not like traditional deodorant that take several swipes, natural deodorants are concentrated enough where only a little bit is needed to provide maximum odor protection.
3. Third and lastly, natural ingredients work quite differently. It can take a few weeks for your body to get used to the way natural deodorant works for you.
